CRL SOLAR
Project Summary:
Krebs and Lansing was the design civil engineer for the 2.2 Megawatt solar array project in Windsor Country, Vermont. The project features access road improvements, clearing and re-grading of almost 10 acres of the site and the layout of over 100 ground mounted solar panels.
Krebs and Lansing was responsible for the design of civil site engineering improvements, including all access roads, grading, and erosion prevention and sediment control. We compiled all site drawings and environmental data for design drawings and land use permitting. We also provided support for all permitting activities related to wetlands and water bodies, designed access and submitted permit applications for access from State highways, and coordinated surveying and mapping of the sites.
While the project is exempt from operational stormwater permitting because there is less than one acre of impervious surface proposed, a stormwater collection and treatment system was designed in accordance with the Vermont Stormwater Management Manual.
